What you’ll be doing:
As a Service Advisor, you'll serve as the essential link between customers and the technical team, ensuring exceptional service experiences while maximising workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction. This customer-facing position offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialist product knowledge while building relationships with clients across the South West.
- Advise customers on appropriate HGV parts and components based on their requirements
- Process orders efficiently via telephone, email and in-person at the trade counter
- Utilise parts catalogues and technical systems to identify correct components
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with inventory management
- Build and maintain relationships with regular trade customers
- Handle customer queries regarding parts availability, compatibility and pricing
- Work with suppliers to source specialist components when required
- Support the achievement of sales targets and business objectives
What we’re looking for:
- Strong customer service skills with a consultative approach
- Previous experience within the commercial vehicle/ automotive industry would be desirable
- Good technical aptitude and willingness to develop product knowledge
- Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities to address customer requirements effectively
